In most cases, you will require a visa in order to to enter Canada as a visitor. However, in some situations you may only need a valid passport. Click here to find out if you need a visa.
1.1 Eligibility
In order to be eligible for a Visitor Visa, you must:
have a valid travel document (ie. Passport)
be in good health
have no criminal or immigration-related convictions
prove that you have ties back in your home country that will require you to return (ie. job, home, family)
prove that you have enough funds to for your stay in Canada
