Agri-Food Pilot
This is a pilot program designed to address labour shortages in the Canadian agri-food industry. The most demand is for meat processing and mushroom production. This program gives you the opportunity to gain experience and work towards become a permanent resident and citizen in Canada.
1.1 Eligibility
The eligible industries and occupations for this program are:

meat product manufacturing

NOC 63201, 65202, 94141, 82030, 84120, 85100, 95106

greenhouse, nursery, and floriculture production

NOC 82030, 84120, 85100, 85101

animal production (excluding aquaculture)

To be eligible, you must also have:

qualifying work experience
-
must be in an eligible industry and occupation

minimum 1 year of non-seasonal work experience (total 1,560 hours) in the last 3 years

Canadian high school diploma or equivalent foreign education
