Upon living in Canada for 1,095 days (3 years) during the last 5 years, you can apply to become a Canadian citizen.
1.1 Eligibility
To be eligible for citizenship, you must:
be a permanent resident
have filed your taxes, if applicable
pass a citizenship test if you are between the ages of 18 and 54
meet the minimum language requirements if you are between the ages of 18 and 54
